New Text Tools
Now with Creative Express you can create Horizontal or Circular Embroidery Lettering. This comes with four fonts: Andrew, Anniversary, Primer, Rounded. You will enjoy the easy to use blue and gold handles that are used to visually adjust the letter spacing to correct any spaces that look too small or large. The blue handles allow you to drag the letters to any place along the baseline and the gold handles allow you to move letters off the baseline and place them any where you like. The gold handles also allow you to adjust the size or rotation of any one letter in the text. You will love how easy it is to “envelope” your text into popular shapes like a bridge or pennant. This text is powered by the legendary Floriani Stitch Engine that is capable of “Closest Join” technology meaning the software learns the best place to connect letters. This is found in the “Tools” drop down menu and is a utility program that will allow adding “Assets” or new stuff to the program. Anyone with the Floriani FTCU software has the ability to create an “asset” file in the .AST format. Now owners of Floriani Creative Express can import assets shared from FTCU. These can be things like a new Custom Font or a new Custom Artwork Shape. Other things you might receive in an “Asset” file include custom “Hoop Sizes” and custom “Thread Charts“.
