Floriani Heat Transfer Chalkboard can be used with a digital cutter or as an appliqué fabric transforming any design into a chalk project.
Once applied with an iron or a heat press, the chalkboard vinyl becomes permanent. The matte chalk surface wipes clean with a damp cloth. Combine Floriani Heat Transfer Foil with chalkboard for a multi-layer application.

Floriani Heat Transfer Chalkboard comes with a built-in heat-resistant pressing sheet. The special vinyl material is heat activated. When cutting this product on a digital cutter, mirror image the design. Place the clear carrier sheet face down on the mat. Do not cut through the clear carrier sheet, only cut through the chalkboard material.

To weed an align the graphic, use the Floriani Vinyl Weeding Tool and the Floriani Heat Transfer Vinyl T-Shirt Centering Ruler for the best application.

Tear-Away Appliqué Fabric Application Instructions
– Separate chalkboard material from carrier sheet
– Tape chalkboard over appliqué placement line
– Finish appliqué satin stitch and tear-away the chalkboard outside the placement line
– Place the carrier sheet over the chalkboard material and iron to heat-set
– Continue the embroidery

BEFORE LAUNDERING – turn garment wrong side out so that chalk material is inside and protected or use a garment bag. Use a cold
water temperature setting and low heat for drying. When ironing, use a press cloth over the chalkboard material.
